Just as we all have physical health, we also have mental health. It is an essential part of our overall wellbeing, and something we all experience on a spectrum - sometimes we feel well, but other times we may struggle.
Good mental health helps us cope with the daily stresses of life, perform well at work, and build strong relationships. When we take care of our mental wellbeing, we are more productive, resilient, and better equipped to manage life's challenges.
However, poor mental health can make us feel overwhelmed, disconnected, and unable to function at our best. It is important to remember that you are not alone - support is always available.

Grounding techniques can help manage stress, anxiety, & overwhelming situations.
1. 5-4-3-2-1
Use your 5 senses:
- 5 things you can see
- 4 things you can feel
- 3 things you can hear
- 2 things you can smell
- 1 thing you can taste
2. Touch something solid
Touch a nearby object (a wall, chair, or even holding a cold drink) and focus on its texture, temperature, and weight.
3. Breathing regulation
- Inhale for 4 seconds โ hold for 4 โ exhale for 4 โ hold for 4.
- Trace the outline of your hand with one finger. Inhale as you trace up a finger, exhale as you trace down.
- Inhale like youโre smelling a flower, exhale like youโre blowing out a candle.
