If festivals are not your tipple and you prefer a less chaotic environment, perhaps waiting staff is the role for you!
Waiting staff are generally provided to corporate parties, functions or venues, and will be dressed in strictly smart uniform. We have provided waiting staff to the likes of Tobacco Dock, Natural History Museum & Battersea Evolution - so hopefully that gives you a taster of the type of environment you would be working in.
The majority of our clients will desire waiting staff for formal or corporate events. However we do provide waiting staff to events such as Oktoberfest (German Beer Festival) which is a much more energised atmosphere, so we have always got you covered for whatever environment you’re most comfortable in.
Typically as waiting staff, you will be serving food or drink on a tray to a large volume of customers throughout your shift. So make sure those shoes are tied up tight as you will spend all shift on your feet!
There is a similarity to the bartender role, as yo will be providing high levels of customer service and engaging face-to-face with customers at the venue. It is important to be dressed to the smartest standard you can, so double-check that iron is still in working order and your shoe polish is fully stocked!
