⭐ Please note that our Operations team is now full for this year.
As well as our bar management team at festivals and events across the UK and Ireland we also have a large operations team who attend many festivals and events throughout the season. At larger events we have an operations team of around 3 - 6 people.
What would an Operations / Staffing Manager be responsible for?
- Recording staff hours accurately and sending these back to the office
- Being the first point of contact on site for staff
- Coordination of staff onto bars / work areas
- Dealing with any staff welfare issues etc
- Signing in/out staff
- Dealing with staff coaches on site getting our teams into and away from the event safely
- Actioning any onsite requests from the client or hap HQ
- Ensuring staff and managers have all the kit and uniform needed as provided by the client
- Liaising with Supervisors and Managers about processes or operational changes
- Setting up and managing the staffing area
The Operations team will be the first to arrive on site and the last to leave. They will liaise with the client, set up the staffing compound, orientate themselves with the event site, coach park, staff entrances, campsite etc, ready to receive and brief the hap Managers, Supervisors and Staff when they arrive.
We have high expectations of our operations teams. They are required to work hard, be responsible and especially set an example to all hap staff. We expect a strong work ethic and the ability to maintain the highest professional standards, whilst working long hours.
