What is a hap Bar Manager or Supervisor responsible for?
- Briefing all staff
- The operational effectiveness of the bar area, including a proactive approach to Health & Safety
- Staff supervision and deployment
- Stock control, loss prevention, rotation and customer service and bar set up/clean down
- Being first point of contact for all staff on your bar
- Record the hours of everyone working on the bar and pass it on to the hap operations team
- Monitoring and authorising staff breaks
- A manager/supervisor MUST always be present on their bar
- Motivating staff
- Adhering to and promoting licensing conditions
The management team structure depends on the size of the bar and the size of the staff team. We have high expectations of our bar management teams and we appreciate they may be here to enjoy the festivals, but they are required to work hard, be responsible and must set an example to all hap staff.
