If your hap profile is registered to a different region than the festival is in, you still have the opportunity to apply!
🚨 You will only be able to submit a request for events that are within the next 6 weeks. For any events further than 6 weeks away, please check back closer to the time.
🚨 Staff in the local regions will be given first priority, then any requests will be reviewed.
You will receive an email when your request has been reviewed advising if it was accepted or denied.
If it was accepted, you will be considered to be invited to Step 3, Book your Shifts, based on:
- Your skills, qualifications, and relevant experience
- If you are a returning staff member to the venue or have previously worked for hap.
Please note: Not all applicants will be successful at this stage.
To submit a request:
1. Express Your Interest via the vacancies page.
The website will tell you that ‘This event is not currently open to staff in your area’.
2. Once you have Expressed Your Interest, you will be taken to your Events Table on your account.
Underneath the event, click the link to ‘submit a request’.
3. You can then complete our online application form to manually confirm your availability!
4. After your request has been reviewed, you will receive an email with your result.

Things to note:
- Only the events that are open to Step 2, Confirm Availability, will appear in the list. For any events further than 6 weeks away, please check back closer to the time.
- You only need to submit 1 form per event - submitting multiple will only slow down the process.
- Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and will not be the same from assignment-to-assignment.
- Staff in the local regions will be given first priority, then the requests will be reviewed.
- Applications cannot be confirmed over email, please fill out the form and wait to be contacted.
