hap Solutions care about our staff, and therefore, before signing up, we request that you ensure that you are able to get to and from each shift safely.
We usually have two options available for you to get to your assignment:
- Make Your Own Way
- Get on our Staff Coach (for big festivals and events)
These options will be listed on the event vacancy for you to consider before you book your shift. If you realise after you have booked your shift that you cannot get there, your account may be disabled and further work not offered.
If you realise after you have booked your shift that you cannot get there, you must cancel your shift providing a minimum of 24 hours notice. Failure to do this may result in your account being disabled and further work not offered.
Get The Staff Coach
Sometimes we offer staff coaches from big cities.
These coaches are free and will pick you up from a central meeting point, and drop you off at the assignment - it will also take you back to the same place when the assignment is done.
The coach pick-up point and time will be available at the point of booking. It will also come in your reminder text the evening before the assignment.
If you book the coach option, you will be required to take the coach to the event. You will not be able to provisionally book a coach seat and then decide to Make Your Own Way.
🚨 Please ensure that you are on time for the coach, as it cannot wait for you.
Make Your Own Way
If Make Your Own Way is the only option, you must make sure you can get yourself safely to/from the event before you book the shift.
You must also live nearby - we generally cannot allow you to travel more than an hour to get to a shift, as it is just not worth it. We do not mind you travelling a bit further to go work a weekend festival, but unfortunately, we cannot provide travel expenses.
